2024 Florida Transit Planning Network Session I: S11: Preparing for FTA Capital Investment Grants
FDOT’s new Transit Corridor and Project Evaluation (TCPE) guidance (previously TCAR) assists premium transit project sponsors entering Project Development under the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Investment Grant (CIG) Program. The TCPE responds to changes in federal law and FTA policy while providing additional flexibility for project sponsors. The speakers will provide an overview of TCPE guidance in the context of the current update to the Florida Transportation Plan.
2024 Florida Transit Planning Network Session II: S17: Planning Data Forum: What Data Matters, Where to Get It, and How to Use It
This FTPN roundtable will explore key issues in transit planning data, including its value and application. Session facilitators will present topics such as key performance indicators analysis, the use of smart technologies, GIS tools, and other data applications. We will also highlight available resources from FDOT data and analysis centers. The session will encourage audience participation to share experiences, identify data needs, and discuss how these can enhance transit services, improve customer information, and develop new service opportunities.
